Designer Rosanna Reeves
Rosanna Reeves was named by Simon Sherman as the designer of the Dollyrockers Midi dress worn by Princess Grace of Monaco's daughter:
"One important thing is that the dress should be impossible to price. One woman can look at another wearing it, and not guess how much it cost. It has done so well partly because it will suit different women - it's not merely a teenage dress. It has done very well in size 16. When we made our first samples, we didn't have the cream coloured inset, but carried the print on right up to the neck. It looked too heavy. Then Rosanna Reeves, who designed the dress, tried another sketch, with the cream inset at the neck, and the layered sleeves. A plain colour near the face is more flattering to a woman. And the layered sleeves and eastern print made it very fashionable. A combination of circumstances really." [1]
